Happy New Year to all of our new and continuing affiliates!
With this first issue of Perspectives for 2007, we welcome Charles Osborne as incoming Editor, and Rod Gabel as Associate Editor. Charlie had been our Associate Editor working closely with John Tetnowski to publish high quality theme-based issues over the last year on topics of great interest to Division affiliates. We thank John for his hard work and creativity as Editor. Division affiliates have been delighted with the direction that he has taken Perspectives and feel that the quality of the content is appropriate for continuing education credit. The Division Steering Committee is currently working to make that possible. We are applying to become an ASHA Continuing Education Provider, have recruited a volunteer to offer his/her time and talents to act as CE Administrator, and have identified researchers who are willing to serve as reviewers. Affiliates who seek CEUs through self-study of Perspectives will be able to complete relevant forms online. More information on this process will be available soon.
