Welcome to the November issue of Perspectives! Charlie Osborne and Rod Gabel have listened to Division affiliates’ recommendations and have put together an interesting and informative collection of articles with the theme of multicultural issues. Topics include the importance of understanding the cultural context of the client for assessment and treatment of stuttering, the birth of a Turkish self-help organization for people who stutter, and how stuttering can become a part of the cultural fabric of one’s personal beliefs. We are proud to offer a high-quality publication for which Division affiliates can earn CEUs. We are indebted to Lynne Shields, Division 4 Continuing Education Administrator, for breaking ground, launching the program, and solving problems as we grow in this area.
