It is an honor for me to take over the editorship of the Special Interest Division 4 newsletter from Hugo Gregory, and to follow Hugo, Charlie Healey, Ted Peters, and Gordon Blood who have held this position previously. I have been in contact with Hugo, Charlie, and Gordon in recent weeks, and the phrase that I have heard most often from them in regard to the editorship is “thankless job.” I am lucky enough to have Scott Yaruss taking on the role of associate editor, a benefit that previous editors did not have. I am hopeful that my tenure as editor will provide a continuation of timely and important information being disseminated to the Division 4 affiliates via this newsletter.
