Many of us have shown the Van Riper therapy videotapes of Dr. Van’s therapy with Jeff. In addition, I have also shown my students Dr. Van’s 50th year tribute video. Since I was both a client and a student of Dr. Van and knowing of his interest in the unusual, I asked my undergraduate students at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point to write him a “one liner” of review of his work with Jeff.
The following comments were written to Dr. Van on November 6, 1989:
In response to our one liners, Dr. Van wrote back to us this letter, with the accompanying picture of himself relaxing outside his log cabin, smoking his pipe and with a grin on his face from ear-to-ear.
