The Special Interest Group (SIG) 4 Coordinating Committee (CC) welcomes Charlie Osborne, who will join returning members Craig Coleman (associate coordinator), Holly Nover, and myself on the SIG 4 CC. In addition, Jennifer Kleinow will be assuming the role of Continuing Education Content Manager and Professional Development Manager. The Professional Development Manager is a new appointed position on the SIG CC. Joe Donaher continues in the position of editor of Perspectives. Farzan Irani works with Joe as associate editor.
As we welcome the new CC members, I want to recognize the contributions of Judy Kuster and Lynne Shields. Both of these talented professionals volunteered professional expertise and valuable time to SIG 4 . Judy served on the CC and Lynne served as the CE Content Manager. Their contributions are appreciated and both will be missed. Also, SIG 4 members would like to acknowledge and thank Diane Paul (SIG 4 CC ex officio) for facilitating and contributing to SIG 4 projects by advocating for our initiatives and seeking answers for my many questions! Both Diane Paul and Sarah Slater (ASHA's Director of Surveys and Analysis) provided valuable input into the oral reading fluency survey and analysis.
