Special Interest Group (SIG) 4 sponsored a Short Course and a Seminar. The SIG 4 Short Course was titled “Counseling Individuals who Stutter: A Lifespan Perspective.” Presenters included Rodney Gabel, Stephanie Hughes, Joe Donaher, and Lisa Scott. The SIG 4 Sponsored Seminar, “Stuttering Treatment: How Camps and Programs Can Help Target Goals and Objectives.” Presenters included Craig Coleman, Farzan Irani, Kristen Chmela, Robert Riechhardt, and Taro Alexander.
Craig Coleman and Holly Nover represented SIG 4 at the NSSLHA SIGnificant Resources for Students: Rapid Roundtables. Craig presented information and questions on the diagnosis and treatment of stuttering in the clinic and hospital setting and Holly focused on the same topics in the school setting.
