Early referral for stuttering is the message that they must hear over and over again. To communicate this and other important information, organizations like the Stuttering Foundation of America and National Stuttering Association provide pamphlets and books as well as free downloads for pediatricians. (2004) can be valuable tools in educating other professionals and consumers.
